Registration is now open!
Join the TD Summer Reading Club, Canada’s largest summer reading program for kids and teens of all interests and abilities!
This year’s theme, "Dive In!", invites you to experience a summer of splash filled storytelling where imagination runs as deep as the sea. Enjoy weekly stickers, fun prizes, and exciting grand prizes as you chart your own reading adventure.
How does it work?
- Visit the library: Drop by any Oakville Public Library branch to register. You’ll get your very own Summer Reading Club tracker.
- Set your reading goal: How many books will you read each week? Pick a goal that works for you (one book, two books, or more!).
- Read toward your goal: Open a book and enjoy the adventure. Read a little each day or all at once.
- Track to collect prizes: Bring your tracker to the library each week to track your progress by collecting a sticker, then collect your prizes according to the schedule.
- Join the fun: Take part in awesome crafts, games, and activities at the library all summer. Visit our Programs and Events page to see what’s happening.
- Keep visiting for a chance to win: Visit the library and track your reading for three weeks to earn an entry into our end-of-summer grand prize draw. You could win fun prizes like beach gear, sports equipment, lawn games, musical instruments, and more!

Reel in a good read with our reading pond!
Cast a line and discover your next great read at our playful Reading Pond.
